Grilled Brussel Sprouts and Peaches

Grilled Brussel Sprouts and Peaches

I was trying to decide on a side dish this weekend but I was pretty sure there would be grilled brussel sprouts involved. I saw some really nice peaches at the market so I grabbed them thinking I might grill them as well. When I got home, I realized, why not just grill them all together and make it the same dish! I tossed them in a sauce of lime juice and fish sauce to really up the savory element, and added some sriracha to give it a kick.

Cut the sprouts in half, and cut the peaches into 8ths. Toss them lightly in oil and salt.
Then just dump them all on the grill.  My grill is good for this because the grates are thick and it is pretty tough for something to fall through.
Once everything in browned up, pour on the sauce.
Just what you want to eat at a BBQ in September!
The fish sauce and lime juice really add the needed tangy and salty kick to this dish that makes it different and special.  There is a little maple syrup and sriracha to add some sweetness and a kick.
