Bagel Burger Sliders
Everything you would put on a bagel at brunch, but make it burger sliders! That is what thee perfect little bagel sliders are. There is nothing like a bagel with some cream cheese, cucumber, and a slice of smoked salmon, so I thought that would be a perfect starting point for a burger. I also realized that it might be a bit much on a full sized bagel, so the mini version was just right.
The inspiration for the bagel burger sliders
I made some mini bagels for bagel bites this past weekend, and I thought they would be great as little slider buns so I saved a few. I ran with the bagel theme for these burgers, topping them with cream cheese, chives, cucumber, and smoked salmon. They came out a perfect little size, and they tasted great! The idea of cheese with smoked salmon is iffy to me, so I went back and forth about topping the burgers with additional cheese, but at the last minute I added a little provolone and the flavors matched perfect.
Form the slider burger patties
Mini burgers, mini bagels. When you are making sliders, make sure the burger patties are the right size for the bun you are using, in this case, a mini bagel. Measure it and make them a bit bigger so when they shrink a little while cooking they still fit nicely.
Build the bagel burger sliders
Put cream cheese on the top and bottom bagels. Top the bottom half with chives and the top half with the smoked salmon and cucumber.
Mini patties cooked to medium and topped with provolone. Add them to the bottom bun.
Then just put them together!
Serving the bagel burger sliders
So good! These were 3 bites of perfection. Creamy, crunchy, salty goodness.
I think bagel burger sliders would be awesome as part of a brunch spread! Maybe on a cutting board with some deviled eggs and waffle sticks.
I was worried about the smoked salmon here, but it really just added a nice bacony vibe to the burger and brought the flavors of brunch, bagels, and burgers together on the slider!

Twists on this recipe
You could definitely do these bagel burger sliders without the smoked salmon if it is weirding you out. Maybe just put some on the side! You could also top these with whatever you like on your bagel, and use whatever bagel flavors you normally get!
