Cajun Shrimp Burgers With Avocado Crema

Cajun Shrimp Burgers

Recipe sponsored by Shawโ€™s

I find myself craving backyard grilling flavors so often right now. I think it is because I just need to get out of the house as much as I can, but either way, I am always trying to think of the next grilled meal and sides.

This past week Shawโ€™s sent me on a little shopping spree to see which of their easy and affordable Signature products I could grab and make a fun recipe from. Because I was in the mood for grilling, I decided to do a burger, and serve it with potato and pasta salads.

I topped the burger with muenster cheese, an avocado crema and some cajun grilled shrimp and it was the best burger I have had in awhile! The potato salad was loaded with ranch, bacon, and pickles, and the pasta salad had cucumbers and was seasoned by a jar of quick pickled peppers. All in all, a perfect backyard spread.

The Signature Farms Ground Beef Patties 91% Lean 9% Fat were great for these burgers and had just the right fat content to keep the burger super juicy and flavorful. My favorite though was the Signature RESERVEโ„ข Fusilli because it really held on to the light sauce I made. It was a perfect pasta salad noodle!

I was never really a big shrimp griller until recently because I thought they became overcooked before you could char them. I now have a better grill and I skewer them like this and can get some good color on them.

Smells like summer!
