Orange Buttermilk Rum Cake with Olive Oil Gelato

A really good, unique, and flavorful dessert I made with my blogger friend and some liquid nitrogen.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 Cup Flavorful and Fruity Olive Oil
  • 2.5 Cups Whole Milk
  • 1/2 Cup Cream
  • 3/4 Cup Nonfat Milk Powder
  • 3/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1/8 Teaspoon Xanthan Gum

Instructions

  • Warm the milk and cream. Whisk the powders together. Whisk the powders into the milk. Add the olive oil and mix. Allow to cool and then freeze in your ice cream maker. Put it into the freezer until hardened.
