- juice from 1/2 a lime
Slaw
- 2 cup pre cut cabbage slaw mix
- 2 tablespoons mayo

- pinch salt and pepper
Fries
- 2 pounds frozen french fries
- 4 hot dogs sliced on a bias
- 1 onion sliced thin
- 1 cup store bought queso warmed in the microwave
- thin sliced scallions
- thin sliced jalapeno or serrano peppers
Mix the sauce ingredients in a liquid measuring cup. Set aside until ready to use.
Mix the slaw ingredients in a small bowl. Set aside until ready to use
Cook the fries in the oven or in an air fryer according to package instructions. Depending on the time you may want to start these before or after the onions and hot dogs.
Add some olive oil to a frying pan and add in the onions. Cook, stirring often, for about 5 minutes.
Add in the hot dogs and cook another 10 or so minutes until the onions are browned and the hot dogs are starting to blacken on the edges.
Spread the fries on a baking sheet. Drizzle on half of the queso.
Next top with the hot dogs and onions. Then the rest of the queso.
Next add the slaw, then drizzle on some of the mayo based sauce. Top with the scallions and jalapenos, and serve more sauce on the side.
