This tripe sandwich is inspired by a sandwich I had on vacation in Florence Italy.
Salmon burgers usually have an asian flair to them at least when I have seen them out at restaurants, but I was more in the mood for very simple flavors that really felt like spring and showcased the fresh salmon. I grabbed some vibrant green beans and ramps at the store and put together a quick slaw with a mustard vinaigrette as a topping for these burgers. Some hard boiled eggs and nice whole grain rolls pulled everything together. Some of you are probably grilling this weekend, and I highly suggest trying out these burgers as something different for a small get together.
Twist on Shepherds Pie that uses sausage and a topping of crispy brussel sprouts.
In the summer, it’s so easy to slap a veggie sandwich together that is nice and healthy but still delicious and satisfying. In the winter, you could make the same sandwich if you wanted, but not only will it not taste as good because of out of season veggies, but it isn’t as satisfying because your body isn’t craving that type of thing right now. I made this nice hearty winter veggie sandwich last week that totally hit on everything you crave this time of year and was the best sandwich I have had in a really long time.
Spicy and sour avocado based hot sauce.
A pork tenderloin wrapped in pretzel dough couldn\’t possibly be a bad idea, and the apple honey mustard to go along with it was straight up inspired.
A twist on a classic Cubano sandwich that instead uses Italian ingredients.
