Potato Salad Topped Burgers

Tailgating season is finally upon us! There is going to be so much tailgating going on here in the next few months that I could rebrand to tailgating in my beard.
I am really excited to be working with ALDI because I can grab everything I need for a good tailgate there at unbeatable prices! It’s always tricky to decide what to make ahead vs make on site vs buy store bought, and ALDI has options for all levels.
I wanted to top these burgers with a classic tailgate side dish and ALDI had literally every possible option for different potato salads. I went with the mustard style because it is the kind I always grew up with, but the loaded version would be awesome too.





Potato Salad Topped Burgers
For: 3 burgers
- 1 pound Simply Nature Organic 100% Grass Fed Ground Beef
- 1 cup Park Street Deli Mustard Potato Salad
- 12 slices Park Street Deli Atomic Pickles
- 3 slices Munster Cheese
- 3 Burger Buns
Instructions
- Split the meat into 3 equal parts and form them into burger patties. Use the buns to gauge the size of the burgers. Season with salt and pepper
- Grill the burgers on high heat for about 5 minutes per side to desired doneness. Top with cheese after flipping.
- Place the burgers on the bottom buns. Top with potato salad followed by pickles. Top with the top buns and serve.
