Pasttata
For: 6 People
- 4 Slices Bacon
- 1/2 Pound Breakfast Sausage
- 2 Cups Shredded Cheese (I used a mix of cheddar, jack, and provolone)
- 7 Eggs
- 3/4 Pound Cooked Pasta
- 1 Small Onion
- 1/4 Cup Chopped Parsley
- Salt, Pepper, Paprika, Chile Flake To Taste
Instructions
- Mix the eggs with the pasta and the cheese. Preheat the oven to 350.
- Cook the bacon, sausage, and onion in a hot large frying pan that can go into the oven.
- Remove the stuff from the pan when it is cooked. Drain some of the fat but leave enough to nicely coat the pan.
- Stir the meat and onion mixture into the pasta along with the parsley and salt/pepper/etc
- Get the pan nice and hot. Add the pasta mixture and get it into the oven asap. Cook about 35 minutes until just set but not dried out.
- Allow to sit for 10 minutes before cutting and serving.
