Habanana Peanut Satay

A twist on a satay dip with banana and habanero. It\’s spicy, sweet, and salty, the perfect balance.

    • 1 Banana
    • 1 Cup Peanuts
    • 1 Handful Cilantro
    • 2 Habaneros
    • 1 Clove Garlic
    • 1 Can Coconut Milk
    • 1/4 Cup Soy Sauce

    1. Blend it real good in the food processor. Soy sauce will make it salty but taste and adjust as needed.

This idea came from when I was eating really healthy last month and trying to blend things with peanuts in the food processor. Ever since elvis, everyone has known that peanuts plus bananas equals delicious, so why not blend them up together and see what happens?

This is the extent of the recipe. Pop everything into the food processor and give it a spin.

These were awesome! The banana gave a nice sweetness to the salty teriyaki chicken.

I used the teriyaki marinade from this recipe for the chicken itself. The sauce recipe is below.
