Double Bacon Waffle Burger

Thin patties made the same size as the waffle iron. Quick sear on both sides is all they really need. Stack em up in the pan to help the cheese melt. Bacon on top. Don't forget the syrup dipping sauce! These burgers were really really good. It's almost surprising how well it went together when it was literally just simple waffles and burgers. In fact, Mandi claims it's the best burger shes ever had!
I used this waffle recipe. The patties were super thin and liberally seasoned with salt and pepper. The bacon was thick and the cheese was American. The syrup was some crappy HFCS imitation brand. Don't use the real stuff for this.
