How to Roast a Pepper

Roasting your own peppers makes a huge difference in the flavor of the food. it doesn't take much time or effort, and is a huge payoff in the end.

Put the peppers under the broiler and rotate them occasionally. You can also do this on the grill.

You want them to be really blackened. Put them in a small papar sandwich bag or paper towels, then put them into a plastic bag, zip lock or plastic wrap.

After 20 minutes or so, take them out and the blackened skin will fall right off.

cut them into pieces and remove the seeds on the inside. They are ready to use in any recipe!
