The Food in my Beard is my recipe playground, so the recipes you see here were on my table or in my beard just a few days before being posted.
Since starting The Food in my Beard in 2008, I’ve created over 1,000 recipes. I cook anything and everything and enjoy mashing up flavors, techniques, or cuisines that normally aren’t paired together.
When I’m not working on my food, I can be found looking for inspiration at indie rock shows, catching up on my favorite TV shows, performing at Improv Boston or playing Super Mario. Sometimes, my other passions cross over into my cooking, and I’ll craft a recipe inspired by my favorite pop culture references.

Sunday April 10th: Boston Lamb Jam
Boston’s best chefs will be competing for the best lamb dish in town, and I get to be the judge! This event is always a good time, you will leave full, and you even get to vote for the crowd favorite. Get tickets here.
Saturday May 14th: Martha’s Vineyard Wine Fest
There are many awesome events at the wine fest all weekend, but I will specifically be hosting a beer dinner with Peak Organic Brewing, and will also be competing in a burger battle!
Saturdays, July 16th, 23rd, and 30th: Don’t Read the Comments at Improv Boston
I am hosting a show this summer at Improv Boston and inviting some of my blogger friends to read the worst comments they have ever gotten live on stage! The improvisers will then bring the comment section to life with fun scenes based on the comments.
