29 Mac and Cheeses from The Food in my Beard

5 Years ago today, The Food in my Beard was born. It seems like it all went by so fast, but at the same time, I can't really remember a time when I wasn't blogging.  So that's reason I have been doing the roundups all week. Honestly I can't think of a better way to celebrate than with mac and cheese. As always, I just want to say a big thanks! You guys are why I do this. Thanks for sticking around all these years, and I promise to make this one the best ever.

Pork Belly BBQ Mac and Cheese. The Mac that started it all! This was the first mac and cheese I ever posted and still one of my favorites.

Green Mac and Cheese. One of my most popular posts of all time. This mac is loaded with fresh herbs.

Summer Veggie Mac and Cheese. A fresh and delicious variation perfect for a summer BBQ.

Bacon Blue Burger, and Tomato Basil Balsamic Mac and Cheeses. I call these "His and Hers" mac and cheese.

Mac and Cheesesteak.

Simple Four Cheese and Asparagus Mac and Cheese.

Three Headed Munster Mac and Cheese.

Three Mac and Cheeses for a Ravenous Crowd. Or, how to make tons of mac and cheese at once.

Chocolate Covered Mac and Cheese. ...What?

Mac and Cheese with Broccolini and Meatballs.

Brussel Squash Mac and Cheese. This one wasn't very good, but I remade it a few years later and...

Bacon Brussel Mac and Cheese. ...Finally Conquered it!

Steak and Arugula Mac and Cheese

Carnitas Mac and Cheese

Lobster Mac and Cheese

Sundried Tomato and Sausage Mac and Cheese

Saag Paneer Mac and Cheese. An Indian version that actually worked effortlessly.

Spinach Artichoke Mac and Cheese. Based on the popular dip.

Mustard Kielbasa Mac and Cheese

Cool Ranch Mac and Cheese. Soo good!

Everything Bagel Mac and Cheese.

Cuban Sandwich Mac and Cheese Lasagna! This is one of my most favorite mac and cheese endeavors. Things are about to get wacky on this list.

Mac and Cheese Sushi? One of my most famous posts. This was on the front page of MSNBC.com and Huffington Post!

Mac and Cheese Soup. It's basically mac and cheese with extra milk, so it becomes incredibly creamy.

Fried Mac and Cheese Balls. Holy Mac and Cheese Balls!

Mac and Cheese Ravioli. Inception pasta.

Mac and Cheese Stuffed Sausages. The pasta is ground up right in the meat!

Mac and Cheese Stuffed Burgers

Mac and Cheese Stuffed Chile Relleno This is one of my favorite things I have ever made, and if I ever opened my own restaurant, this would be the signature dish.

I've been loving your posts all week! I'm a bit of a n00b around these parts, but I'm here to stay. I'm definitely going to make a Mac & Cheese for Game Day... now you've made my job of choosing one that much harder. Cheers to you, and congrats on your 5 years!!

I finally made the best cheese sauce yet for my recent mac and cheese. I've had issues with it becoming gritty, but defeated the grittiness with temperature control.

Congrats on 5 years! I first came here for the epic timpano and stayed for the variations of mac and cheese.

I'm gonna make the spinach artichoke mac soon.

Happy blog birthday! You already know that it's my favorite recipe so I just want to thank you again for introducing me and my friends to pork belly mac and cheese :)

Happy anniversary. You have done a lot of hard work to keep this up. Congratulations.

Happy 5! You're a culinary genius.

Happy 5th birthday, TFIMB. Seriously, if it weren't for you, I wouldn't be able to live on my own and eat well cooking for myself and friends. Thanks. Here's to many more years of blogging and making awesome recipes, especially more Mac and Cheeses.

Happy blog birthday! These all look so good. I made a roasted cauliflower, spinach, and bacon mac and cheese for dinner last night.

Congrats on 5 years, Dan! Your creativity never ceases to amaze me. And make me hungry. Cheers to your blogiversary!
