Cheesesteak Fries

This was one of those things that I saw on a menu somewhere and just had to make it right away. It was awesome and all, BUT I made this cheesesteak dip about a year back that was cramazing, and it would have been better to just serve that smothered all over the fries. After all, when I think cheesesteak fries, I kind of think gooey cheese fries with steak on them. I'm posting these pics anyways because this way is easier than making the cheesesteak dip, and was still really tasty, in fact my friends finished it in about 3 and a half minutes.

For more info on making cheesesteaks in general, check out this older post.

Rich helped me fry some fries.

These are the 3 essential elements of a cheese steak for me. Besides the cheese!

So I suppose a big mound of shredded jack and provolone might be better on here, but I used what was available!

Yum.

People start digging in.

Looks like a bomb went off in there!

So like I said earlier, cheesesteaks here, cheesesteak dip here

wow. those look so good. drooling at my desk.

They look amazing, when I read it, I figured you would have used steak fries, but then it would be cheese steak steak fries.

Dude, I tip my spatula to you- what a great snack for watching the game (or a friggin' soap opera for that matter)!

looks really cool.

what do you think about melting the cheese into the steak/onions, then pouring the mixture over the fries?
